ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Driver of the respondent Transport Corporation, who retired on voluntary retirement scheme on 30.09.2021.
2. According to the petitioner, his terminal benefits were released only on 26.03.2023. Hence, he has sent a representation on 17.08.2023 seeking payment of interest for the delayed payment of the terminal benefits. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to pay interest to the writ petitioner at the rate of 6% from the due date till 25.03.2023 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
