O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent no. 3 to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 17.07.2020 and find out the missing document of the petitioner in Document no. 144/2002 registered before Sub Registrar Office, Alanganallur for his land in Survey no. 56/3B, Kallanai Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District or to issue Non Traceable Certificate for the petitioners document in Document no. 144/2002 registered before Sub Registrar Office, Alanganallur by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 03.10.2023 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 2/5

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given complaint dated 17.07.2020, before the respondent for missing of his document in Doc. No.144/2002 on the file of the Sub-Registrar Office, Alanganallur, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also sent a representation to the respondents on 03.10.2023.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's complaint dated 17.07.2020 as well as the representation dated 03.10.2023 are pending.

5. Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. 23.11.2023 3/5
