ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime no.484 of 2023 on the file of the first respondent Police and quash the same as illegal.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation is still pending in this matter and the respondent will complete the investigation within a period of one month. He further submitted that a counter case is also registered against the defacto complainant.

3. In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file final report by following appropriate procedures. The petitioner is at liberty to work out remedy through appropriate proceedings, if he is aggrieved over the contents of the final report.

4. With the above direction and liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
