O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to issue non-traceable certificate for the missing document bearing Document No.231/1982 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Keeramangalam Sub Registrar Office, Pudukkottai Disrict relating to S.F.No.163/6 (68 Cents) vide Patta No.262 situated at Seruvavidhuthi(south) Village, Pattukottai Taluk, Tanjore District and investigate the matter.

2.According to the petitioner, she is the owner of the property in S.F.No.163/6 to an extent of 68 cents and she purchased the property through the sale deed dated 24.04.1982 in document No.231/1982. While so, on 09.11.2024, she went to Avanam Kaikatti Town with the above said original document, when she had tea at Hotel Aruvi near bus 2/5

stop by keeping the original sale deed in a bag, she misplaced the document. Therefore, she lodged a complaint before the second respondent through online dated 11.11.2024 and thereafter, publication was also effected in a Tamil Daily newspaper, namely, Dhinamani on 14.11.2024. But the second respondent has not taken any action . Hence this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that petitioner has lodged the online complaint dated 11.11.2024 and thereafter, she has not appeared before the respondent police and not furnished any documents. Therefore, the respondent police are unable to proceed further with the matter. 4.In view of the representation made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent on 26.02.2025 along with all necessary documents and thereafter, the second respondent has to consider the same and dispose of the petitioner's representation within a period of fifteen days. 3/5
