ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed challenging an FIR in Crime No.98 of 2024 on the file of Inspector of Police, Nalattinputur Police Station, Thoothukudi District for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the first respondent has filed the Final Report, which is yet to be taken on file. According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, out of five accused, two were deleted in the Final Report and notice was also issued to the defacto complainant. Since it is pending at enquiry stage, the learned Magistrate is yet to take cognizance.

3. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the above said Final Report, if so advised. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
