Memorandum of Deposit of title deeds dated 25.08.2025 within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.Supplemental memorandum of deposit of title deeds dated 25.08.2025 executed by the writ petitioner in favour of Aditya Birla Finance Limited was presented for registration. The registering authority declined to register the document citing a restraint order passed by this Court. Challenging the stand of the registering officer, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Today ie., 25.11.2025, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel appearing for the Commissioner, Karur City Municipal Corporation submitted that the petition mentioned land is not covered by the aforesaid restraint order.

4.In view of the clarification offered by the local body, the objection raised by the registering officer no longer can survive. 5.In this view of the matter, the impugned refusal check slip is quashed. The parties are permitted to re-present the document. It shall be registered and released subject to fulfilment of other usual formalities. 6.This writ petition is allowed accordingly.
