PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to give the petitioner's deducted surrender leave salary for 45 days based on the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2023. The present writ petition has been filed by the Junior Engineer of the respondent Transport Corporation, who went on voluntarily retirement from service on 28.02.2022.

2.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, he was not paid for surrender leave salary from 08.12.2008 to 10.12.2011, which covers 45 days and he has also got a grievance that his earned leave has not been credited to his leave account. On the basis of the said request, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents, on 03.04.2023. 3.In view of the above said facts, the third and fourth respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 03.04.2023 and if he is found eligible, shall disburse the said amount within a period of twelve 2/4

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
