PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner on 17.11.2023. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the representation submitted by the petitioner seeking police protection has not been considered.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner after receiving a huge 2/4

amount from the victims on the promise that he will secure job for the victims, cheated them. Various complaints have been registered against the petitioner in various police stations. At the time of securing the petitioner, the petitioner made a promise that he will settle the entire amount to the victims. But he did not settle the same. He further submitted that there are several victims of crime. The person, who has involved in such heinous offence, is not entitled to seek any police protection.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and considering the nature of offence, I find absolutely no reason to consider this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
