PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to carry out survey, measurement and demarcation of boundaries of the new Survey No. 788/20 measuring to an of 0.1.83 Hectare situated at Melkaraipatti Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District with the aid of the 3rd respondent by considering the petitioner's applications dated 19.02.2025 and 03.09.2025. 1/4

ORDER

By relying on sale deed dated 03.05.2023 and patta No.2456, the petitioner had submitted an online application seeking survey of the land in S.No.788/20. On the ground that such application was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.

2.Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent. Learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner's request would be acted upon within 12 weeks after putting the adjacent land owners on notice.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's application for survey and complete the entire exercise within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a 2/4

copy of this order after putting the owners of relevant adjacent lands on notice. No costs.
