ORDER

This petitioner has filed this Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to furnish a Police Verification Report to enable the petitioner to travel with his son, who has been selected to participate in the sports event at Australia.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that unless the report is attached along with the Visa application, the Visa application would not be considered.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that though there is a case pending against the petitioner in Crime No.68 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Section 329(3), 296(b), 324(4), 351(2) of BNS, 2023 and they have already made the Police verification Report ready and would furnish the same to the petitioner within a period of one week. 2/4

4. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to furnish the Police Verification Report to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs.
