This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue license to the petitioner's Spa, by considering her representation dated 23.11.2024, within a time frame.

The petitioner's case is that she is the proprietor of a beauty parlour registered under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Government of India, bearing registration No.UDYAM-TN-21-0001940, dated 15.12.2020. To establish a new branch, she registered with the first respondent, who in turn issued receipt No.129/129/3/24-25/0017346, dated 05.11.2024. In order to fulfil 2/5
the further conditions to obtain the license, she submitted an application to the first respondent, however, license was not issued to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation dated 23.11.2024 to the first respondent, requesting the issuance of the license. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the second respondent.
4. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.11.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and in line with the relevant Government Order/circulars and a decision shall be taken, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
