ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to give police protection to the petitioners for fencing their land in S.No. 22/1A to an extent of 0.16 Ares (40 cents) in E.Reddiyapatti Village, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District as demarcated by the Surveyor

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the owner of the property in S.No.22/1A to an extent of 0.16 Ares in E.Reddiyapatti Village,Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District; Already he surveyed the land through concerned authorities and while he attempted to fix boundary stones one Sankara Chitravel causing disturbance, thereby he sent a representation dated 24.10.2024 for police protection for fencing the land,but the same has not been considered, hence the present petition has been filed. 2/5

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that representation of the petitioner is under enquiry and they will complete the same after hearing both parties and dispose of the same in accordance with law.

Since the prayer of the petitioner is to give police protection and to that effect he has also sent a representation dated 24.10.2024 and the same is under enquiry by the third respondent, it is for the third respondent to complete the enquiry and dispose the same after giving opportunities to both parties.

5. In view of the same this Court directs the third respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2024 in accordance with law after affording opportunity to both parties within a period of 15 days from the date of this order. 3/5

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
