O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No. 4 of 2023 dated 31.01.2023 on the file of the respondent police.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the second respondent, an FIR in crime No. 4 of 2023 had been registered, for the offences under Sections 498(A), 323, 294(b) and 506(1) of IPC. After completion of investigation, final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Trichy and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.1409 of 2023.
3.Since the prayer of the petitioner is to quash the impugned FIR 2/4
and already the respondent police have completed the investigation and filed final report and as per the FIR there are some allegations to constitute offences against the petitioners, this criminal original petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
