ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Conductor of the respondent Corporation who retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.03.2020.

2. According to the writ petitioner, his terminal benefits were released only on 02.06.2021 (wrongly mentioned as 02.06.2023 in prayer). Hence, he has sent a representation on 15.11.2023 seeking interest for belated payment of terminal benefits. Since the said request is not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. In view of the above said facts, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the due date till 01.06.2021 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
