ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Driver, who attained superannuation on 31.07.2022 seeking disbursement of surrender leave salary, which was not paid from the year 2009 onwards. Seeking the said amount, the petitioner has sent a representation on 05.07.2023. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to disburse the eligible surrender leave salary to the writ petitioner along with 6% interest from the due date till the date of payment, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
