ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Conductor of the respondent Corporation who retired under Voluntary Retirement Scheme on 31.07.2022.
2. According to the writ petitioner, his terminal benefits were released only on 30.05.2023. Hence, he has sent a representation on 15.11.2023 seeking interest for belated payment of terminal benefits. Since the said request is not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. In view of the above said facts, the 2nd respondent is directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the due date till 29.05.2023 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
