This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 6 not to give any first respect to any of the persons of the village particularly to the 7th to 9th respondents in all the forthcoming festivals of Sri Mondiswami Sri Muniyandi Swami, Sri Karala Ayyanar Swamy temple to he held in the Pongal Festival in T.Vellalapatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. 2.According to the petitioner, the respondents 7 to 9 not belongs to the said village. While so, the village people are trying to give first respect to the seventh respondent in the said temple functions. The private respondents are highly influenced persons. He already sent the representation dated 25.06.2024 but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1, 2, 4 and 5 would submit that these respondents are no way connected with the said temple and they never gave first respect to any person.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents in respect of the temple and there is no occasion to give first respect to the private respondents as alleged by the petitioner. Hence this petition is liable to be dismissed. 5.The learned Counsel for the seventh respondent would submit that the petitioner is the one of the devotees and already, this petitioner has filed a petition before the Joint Commissioner, HR and CE Department, Madurai, seeking first respect in O.A.No.7/1999, which is pending. While so, he filed this petition only to harass the private respondents. Hence he prayed to dismiss this petition. 6.This Court heard the rival submissions made and carefully perused the records.
7.In the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the petitioner no where stated that the first and second respondents are related to this temple and they are the competent persons to give any first respect to 4/7
anybody. No where it is stated as to how the respondents 1 to 6 are related to the said temple. Without any particulars in what manner these official respondents related to this temple and why they gave first priority to the respondents 7 to 9, the petitioner filed this petition. Moreover, even as per the averments stated in this petition, the village people are giving first respect to the respondents 7 to 9. Therefore, this petition is lack of particulars.
8.In view of the above observation, this Court is of the view that this Writ Petition has no merits and the same is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. 20.02.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 5/7
