ORDER

The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order of this Court, dated 12.08.2022 made in W.P(MD)No.12683 of 2022, wherein the School Management was directed to consider the request of the petitioner for payment of subsistence allowance during the period of suspension.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the School Management brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has been suspended on 04.04.2022. The subsistence allowance for the month of April 2022 and May 2022 has already been disbursed to the writ petitioner. For the month of June 2022 and July 2022, the authorities have sanctioned the amount and they are likely to release the said amount on or before 31.12.2023. As far as the period between August 2022 and October 2022 is concerned, the School has already forwarded the papers to the Educational Authorities which is pending before the authorities. The authorities are directed to take a call on the said pay bills relating to the subsistence allowance and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. In case if the 2/4

authorities reject the subsistence allowance for the period between August 2022 and October 2022, the same shall be paid by the School Management.
