This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to expedite and complete the proceedings of issuance of Death Certificate of the petitioner's Late Husband namely Ashokan based on the petitioner's application No.52, dated 06.08.2024.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's petitioner's application No.52, dated 06.08.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other counter parties, if any.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
