O R D E R

This petition is filed to modify the condition imposed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Thoothukudi, in Cr.M.P.No.2354 of 2013, in C.A.No.52 of 2013, dated 11.07.2013.

2.The petitioner is an accused in a private complaint filed by the 1st 1st respondent for the dishonour of the cheque amount of Rs.1,40,000/- on 20.03.2011. The trial court convicted the petitioner and also directed the petitioner to pay the compensation of Rs.140,000/- to the complainant. Aggrieved by the judgment, the petitioner has preferred an appeal and while suspending the sentence, the learned appellate judge directed him to deposit the 1/4th of the cheque amount.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the 2nd respondent and perused the materials available on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Perusal of the records, this court is of the considered opinion that the condition is not onerous and therefore, this petition is liable to be dismissed and accordingly, it is dismissed.
