PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioners life and limb so as enabling to measuring demarcate and fix the boundary stone by the 5th respondent in the property in Melaparthibanoor Group, in Paramakkudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in Old Survey No.207, New Survey No.582/10 to an extent of 888.75 S.Feet on the basis of his representation dated 05.08.2025 and 19.08.2025 sent by the respondents 1 & 5.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner to measure and fix the boundary stone by the 5th respondent in the property in Melaparthibanoor Group, in Paramakkudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in Old Survey No.207, New Survey No.582/10 to an extent of 888.75 S.Feet, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2025 and 19.08.2025. 2/5

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, would submit that the survey is likely to be conducted tomorrow (i.e on 10.10.2025 at about 11.00 a.m.,) and the respondent police would provide adequate protection. He would further submit that the said fact has been communicated to the petitioner as well as to the sixth respondent.

3. In the light of the above submission, the survey shall be conducted in the presence of the petitioner as well as the sixth respondent and the respondent police may provide suitable protection. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
