Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2025 and consequently to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide appropriate protection to remove the above buildings in Survey No.225/4A6 and 225/4A7 of Udankudi Village, Thoothukudi District within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2025 and provide appropriate protection to remove the building in Survey Nos.225/4A6 and 225/4A7, Udankudi Village, Thoothukudi District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that based on the petitioner's representation, an enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 08.09.2025.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition stands closed with direction to the respondent Police to serve the closure report on the petitioner forthwith. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report in the manner known to law. There shall be no order as to costs. 22.09.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No Lm 2/4
