By relying on a Manaivari Thoraya patta bearing patta No.439 standing in the name of the petitioner's late father, Sundarraj, the petitioner had applied for a survey of the lands in Natham survey No. 315/7. On the ground that such request was not acted upon, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed on merits within twelve (12) weeks.

3. Apart from the patta in the name of the petitioner's father, the petitioner has also filed the legal heir certificate indicating the legal heirs of late Sundarraj. Such legal heirs include the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner has made out a case for consideration of his application. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider and take necessary action on the petitioner's application within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4
