O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.7 of 2011 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. 2.While entertaining this Criminal Original Petition, this Court, on 08.01.2013, based on the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, dismissed this petition as withdrawn in respect of the first petitioner alone.

3.Though the learned counsel for the petitioners 2 and 3 raised several grounds for quashing the proceedings relating to M.C.No.7 of 2011, pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, he submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the trial Court to complete the proceedings within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court and also to permit the petitioners 2 and 3 to raise all the grounds raised in this petition before the trial Court.

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondent, who has also conceded the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners 2 and 3.

5.In the light of the above said submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners 2 and 3, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District, to complete the proceedings relating to M.C.No.7 of 2011, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
