Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant approval of drawings (construction approval) for obtaining license in Form No.LE-1 under Rule 102 and 103 Explosives Rules 2008 in the property comprised in S.No. 76/1, 92 of Thimmanaickenpatti Village, Virudhunagar District within a time as stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant approval of drawings (construction approval) for obtaining license in Form No.LE-1 under Rule 102 and 103 Explosives Rules 2008 in the property comprised in S.No.76/1, 92 of Thimmanaickenpatti Village, Virudhunagar District.

2. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner to grant approval of drawings (construction approval) for obtaining license in Form No.LE-1 under Rule 102 and 103 Explosives Rules 2008 in the property comprised in S.No.76/1, 92 of Thimmanaickenpatti Village, Virudhunagar District and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
