ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.227 of 2024, dated 10.11.2024 for the offences under Sections 296(b), 133, 115(2), 324(4) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsels on both sides represented that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and they have entered into a compromise and the same was filed before this Court.

3. This Court also enquired the petitioner as well as the defacto complainant, who are present in the Court and the defacto complainant has no objection to quash the F.I.R since they have entered into a compromise.

4. A compromise memo, dated 25.12.2024 signed by the parties, is filed before this Court and this Court also perused the terms of compromise entered into between the parties.

5. In view of the above said compromise and considering the nature Page no.2/4

of offences, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the F.I.R registered in Crime No.227 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent is quashed. The memo of compromise, dated 25.12.2024 filed by the parties, shall form part of this order.
