ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to take suitable action and to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's daughter based on the petitioner's complaint dated 30.09.2023.

2. On behalf of the daughter, this petition was filed by the father seeking police protection.

3. The learned counsel for the fifth respondent would submit that divorce petition was filed by the fifth respondent in HMOP.No.341 of 2023 before the Family Court, Trichy, on the ground of desertion and cruelty. In the above said proceedings, mediation was also undertaken.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that pending the above said proceedings, the fifth respondent made life threat to the daughter of the petitioner and others.

5.Without any basic reason, this petition is filed on the ground that the fifth respondent is causing life threat to the daughter of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner is directed to work out his remedy through appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. 6.With the above said direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
