O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni District in Crime No.37 of 2023 dated 18.09.2023 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, F.I.R in Crime No.37 of 2023 has been registered for the offences under Section 417, 420, 465, 468, 471 and 120 B of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed any final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that already they completed the investigation and the charge sheet is ready. After obtaining a legal opinion, they will file the final report within one month.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to complete the investigation and to file the final report, the respondent police have also completed the Page No. 2 of 4

investigation and assured to file the final report within one, recording above said submission, this Court directs the respondent police to file the final report within a period of one month from the date of this Order.

5. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
