O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus, seeking for a direction to the respondents to grant family pension to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2021.

2. Till date, counter-affidavit has not been filed by the respondents.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice for the present that the first respondent considers the petitioner's representation seeking for family pension on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court and no prejudice would be caused to the respondents if such a direction is issued.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2021 seeking for grant of family pension within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
