ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by DR.ANITA SUMANTH, J.) Prayer of the writ petitioner is for a mandamus directing R2 and R3 to provide basic amenities such as drinking water, drainage, roads, street lights in AVM Nagar Thirukatalai Pudukkottai Municipality Corporation, Pudukkottai District (area in question). The petitioner claims to have made a representation on 05.08.2025. 2.We feel that the prayer in this writ petition is too wide and it is unknown as to which of the civic amenities the area in question actually lacks.
3.Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, accepts 2/4
notice for the respondents and reiterates our concern. 4.Hence, we merely suggest that the petitioner may pursue the representations dated 06.11.2023 and 05.08.2025 with R2, for which purpose, he is permitted to appear before the 2nd respondent Commissioner, City Municipal Corporation of Pudukkottai District, on any date between the 6th and 10th of October 2025, accompanied by a copy of this order. He shall be granted audience and heard on his specific grievance. Needless to state, the grievances shall be alleviated if they are found to be legitimate. With this, and as no useful purpose will be served by keeping this matter pending any longer, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
