ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose the A.S.No.20 of 2019 pending on the file of the learned Sub Court, Devakottai within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. By consent of both the parties, this revision petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the revision petitioner, the first respondent has filed a suit for declaration and permanent injunction against the petitioner in respect of the suit property in O.S.No.28 of 2009 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Devakottai. The said suit was dismissed on 12.12.2018. Thereafter, the first respondent filed an appeal in A.S.No.20 of 2019. The respondents herein is dragging on the proceedings in one way or the other way by seeking continuous adjournments. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents.

5. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Sub Court, Devakottai, to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.

6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Sub Court, Devakottai to dispose the A.S.No.20 of 2019 pending on his file, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.
