The petitioner seeks mutation of name in the property tax assessment registrar. Application has been given to the second respondent. The second respondent is directed to finalise the issue after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the third respondent. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. Final order shall be passed by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
