ORDER

The instant Civil Revision Petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 02.12.2024 passed by the Taluk Legal Services Committee, Sivagiri in L.A.P.No.51/L/24.

A challenge in the civil revision petition is to the order passed by the Legal Services Committee on a petition filed by the petitioner alleging fraud, impersonation and forgery before the Committee in which a settlement had been arrived in O.S.No.29 of 2016. The Taluk Legal Services Authority holding that such suit was amicably settled before the Court and the complaint now made by the petitioner can only be adjudicated upon by a competent Court or by lodging a police complaint.

3. From the records, it is seen that the petitioner had earlier approached this court in C.R.P(MD)No.2219 of 2018, challenging the 2/5

order passed by the Lok Adalat in O.S.No.29 of 2016. This Court in the said civil revision petition held that such plea cannot be entertained and dismissed the civil revision petition. However granted liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum and also held that the petitioner would be entitled to the benefit of Section 14 of the Limitation Act. The said order was passed by this Court on 21.07.2023. However, again the petitioner approached the Taluk Legal Service Authority on 26.03.2024 complaining of fraud, impersonation and forgery during the proceedings in the Lok Adalat.

4. Under the impugned order, the Taluk Legal Services Authority advised the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings either before the Civil Court or before the police authorities. It is not known why the petitioner had not availed the liberty granted by this Court in C.R.P. (MD) No. 2219 of 2018, dated 21.07.2023.

5. In such view of the matter, this Court do not find any merits in the civil revision petition. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed. The petitioner shall work out his right as indicated by 3/5

this Court in CRP(MD)No.2219 of 2018 dated 21.07.2023. There shall be no order as to costs.
