ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by the District Employment Officer, wherein the request of the writ petitioner for sponsoring her name to the post of Village Assistant has been rejected.

2. As per the impugned order, the name of the petitioner was not sponsored to the post of Village Assistant in view of the fact that she has crossed 37 years, which is the maximum age limit prescribed for being appointed as a Village Assistant. This Court does not find any error in the order in view of the fact that the service rules point out the maximum age for being appointed as Village Assistant is 37. However, if any request emanates from any other department for sponsorship, the 2nd respondent is directed to sponsor the name of the petitioner based upon her seniority and the service rules.

3. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
