PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and cancel the patta issued in favour of the 5th respondent based on the petitioner's appeal dated 24.06.2025 and remainder dated 25.08.2025 within the time stipulated by this court.

ORDER

After presenting an appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer for cancellation of the patta issued to the 5th respondent, the petitioner seeks the expeditious disposal of such appeal.

2.Learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 4. After confirming that such appeal is pending, he submits that the same would be disposed of on merits within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all parties thereto.

3.In view of the above submission of learned Special Government Pleader, it is unnecessary to issue notice to the private respondent in this writ petition. Instead, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent 2/4
