This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the 1/4
petitioners representation dated 18.05.2023 to find out the petitioners original documents or to issue non traceable certificate within a specific period that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given representation dated 19.05.2023, before the respondent for missing of his Sale Deed in Doc. No.11827/2011 dated 28.10.2011 on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Urappakkam, but no action was taken as on date and hence, he has also made paper publication in English and Tamil News Papers.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2023 is pending.
5. Considering the above, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and complete the same by following the circular issued 2/4
by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner shall workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.
