ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to take immediate action on the basis of the complaint given by the Sub-Registrar, Manachanallur, Trichy District, vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.312/2021, dated 12.09.2023.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the second respondent is wrongly referred as City Crime Branch Unit No.II, Trichy; that the complaint given by the Sub-Registrar, Manachanallur, Trichy District, is pending enquiry before the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Trichy and the same would be completed within two weeks.

3. In view of the above said submission, there shall be a direction to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Trichy, to complete the said enquiry and take appropriate action, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the result of the said enquiry shall be communicated to the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by any action of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Trichy, he may seek appropriate 2/4

remedy in the manner known to law.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
