Side) COMMON ORDER These criminal original petitions have been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by the Courts below. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was implicated as an accused in Cr.No.270 of 2023, which is registered by the Inspector of Police, Thiruppuvanam, Sivagangai District and in Cr.Nos.
351, 362 & 318 of 2023, which are registered by the Inspector of Police, Othakadai Police Station, Madurai and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a bail petition for a case pending in Cr.No.270 of 2023, before the Principal Sessions Court, Sivagangai in Crl.M.P.No.4773 of 2023 and the same was ordered on 31.10.2023 on condition that the petitioner should report and sign before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am.
his release or until further orders whichever is earlier. Again, the petitioner preferred bail petitions before the Principal Sessions Court, Madurai in Crl.M.P. Nos.5824, 6278 and 6279 of 2023, for the case registered by the Inspector of Police, Othakadai Police Station and the same were allowed on condition that the petitioner should appear and sign before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am., for a period of 30 days. He would further submit that since the petitioner has to appear and sign at 10.00 am., before Thiruppuvanam Police Station as well as Othakadai Police Station, he prayed to modify the condition and direct the petitioner to appear before anyone of the Police Station. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that after considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Courts below rightly imposed the condition, which does not need any interference by this Court.
4.Considering the fair request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the condition imposed by the Courts below is hereby modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the Inspector of Police, Othakadai Police Station daily at 05.00 pm., until further orders. 4/5
