ORDER

The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the house site in Plot No.20 in Survey No.22/2 situated at Thiruparamkundram, Madurai and when he attempted to alienate the property, the Registration Department has informed that there is an objection from the Temple authorities that the land in S.No.22/2 belongs to the temple. In this regard, he made a representation dated 07.12.2022 to the second respondent by enclosing the relevant documents and requesting him to delete S.No.22/2 from the list furnished in proceedings Na.Ka.No. 1324/95/E1, dated 28.01.2012, to Sub-Registrar, Thirupparankundram. Since there was no action on the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider his representation dated 07.12.2022 within a stipulated 2/4

time.

2. Mr.V.Chandrasekar, learned Standing Counsel, who takes notice for the second respondent, requests for some time to get instructions.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of in the admission stage itself, with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2022, on its merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
