Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent.

2. Issuance of notice to the respondents 3 and 4 is dispensed with.

3. This writ petition has been filed by the hereditary trustee of the petition-mentioned temple. He wants permission of this Court to direct the first respondent to accord him permission to conduct the petition-mentioned event.

4. I wanted to know under which provision of law, the relief is sought. The learned counsel for the petitioner would fairly concede that there is no provision which obliges the petitioner to seek permission from the Department to conduct the event.

5. The petitioner being the trustee of the temple need not ask permission from the department to conduct such events. The learned counsel for the petitioner thereupon submitted that he is apprehending trouble at the hands of the respondents 3 and 4. The respondents 3 and 4 who were also the trustees, they had been suspended by the order of the first respondent dated 20.06.2025. The said suspension order is very much holding the filed. The respondents 3 and 4 cannot interfere with the right of Mr.S.Thenan, who is the trustee and whose trusteeship is very much holding the field.

6. In this writ petition, no relief can be granted. The respondents 3 and 4 are the private respondents. If the respondents 3 and 4 interfere with the writ petitioner's legitimate rights, the 3/5

7. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
