The petitioner herein is the accused in S.T.C.No.249 of 2013 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tuticorin. He filed this application to call for the records relating to the above said case and to quash the same as illegal.

2.Even though the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has mentioned the case number as C.C.No.3354 of 2013, as per the letter received from the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tuticorin, the correct case number is S.T.C.No.249 of 2013. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that the case pertaining to this petition has been disposed on 12.04.2014 itself, in which, the petitioner herein had paid the fine amount. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infrucutous.
