Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus of a writ directing the first and third respondent i.e. and the Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Chennai and the District Collector, Madurai to send revised pension proposals to the Accountant General, Chennai including half of the services put in by the petitioner as Thalayari for the period from 5.3.1979 to 31.5.1995 i.e. for a period of 16 years under Rule 11(4) (iii) of the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Honourable Court.

ORDER : This civil miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.LINGADURAI, Special Government Pleader for the petitioners and of Mr.S.VISVALINGAM, Advocate on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- [Order of this Court was made by M.SUNDAR,J.] Captioned 'Civil Miscellaneous Petition' [hereinafter 'CMP' for the sake of brevity, convenience and clarity] is disposed of as closed for the following two reasons:

(a) There is no disputation or contestation that the order sought to be reviewed has since been implemented albeit with a rider that it is subject to the outcome 2/4

of the captioned review application;

(b) Proceedings made in the main review application will make it clear that the main review application itself is now being heard out.

2. Captioned CMP is disposed of as closed.
