COMMON ORDER The instant writ petitions have been filed by Class-IV employees working in the respondent Town Panchayat challenging the separate show cause notice issued to them on 25.11.2024 wherein, they have called upon to submit their explanation before passing final orders in the departmental proceedings.

2.According to the writ petitioners, though enquiry was completed in the year 2016, without passing any final order in the departmental proceedings, they kept it pending for nearly 8 years and the present impugned personal hearing notices have been issued after a long time and hence, they have to be quashed.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent pointed out that on the date of filing of the writ petition namely 29.11.2024, separate final orders have been passed as against all the writ petitioners wherein the petitioners have been issued with an order of removal from service pursuant to the departmental proceedings. 4.In view of the subsequent events, it is clear that no purpose would be served in considering the validity of the personal hearing notices issued to the writ petitioners and all the writ petitions are disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final orders passed in the departmental 2/4

proceedings, if they are so advised. The writ petitioners are at liberty to raise all the grounds in the proposed writ petitions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 02.12.2024.
