ORDER

The prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to conduct enquiry and take the decision as per the order of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.(MD).No. 16651 of 2024 dated 25.07.2024 and to transfer the instigation within the time stipulated by this Court

2. The petitioner himself claiming to be an victim had lodged complaint against SMS Co-operative House Building Society Limited . Earlier on the complaint of one Muneeswaran a case has been registered in Crime No.1 of 2024 by the Economic Offences Wing, Dingidul . This Court by an order dated 25.07.2024 in W.P(MD)No.16651 of 2024 had directed the Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing, to consider the entrustment of investigation to the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Dindigul or Madurai. But no far no action has been taken. Hence the present petition has been filed. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to implement the order passed 2/5

by this Court and also to conduct investigation with regard to the petitioner's complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that several complaints has been received against the SMS Co-operative House Building Society Limited. Already Crime No. 1 of 2015 has been registered and the investigation is in progress.

4. The petitioner's complaint has been received and investigated. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the Superintendent of Police, Economic Offences Wing, South Zone, Chennai in Rc.No.C2/ EOW/ 1172/2024 dated 08.08.2024 had issued proceedings and directed the Inspector of Police, Economic Offences Wing, Dindigul to conduct investigation. Hence the complaint of the petitioner will also be investigated by the same officer, since already investigation is in progress.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
