PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime no.33 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody 1/3

on 22.10.2023 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b),504,505(1)(b) of IPC r/w.Section 67 of Information Technology Act in Crime No.33 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has posted a message criticizing the ruling DMK party and I.T.Wing President, T.R.Balu, T.R.B.Raja in a derogatory words with an intention to create law and order problem in the society which is posted in his twitter handle. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is in custody from 22.10.2023, hence he seeks bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that petitioner has posted a message criticizing the ruling DMK party and I.T.Wing President, T.R.Balu, T.R.B.Raja in a derogatory words with an intention to create law and order problem in the society which is posted in his twitter handle, hence he objected to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
