ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks correction of date of birth in the petition mentioned Certificates. The petitioner has already given representation dated 11.10.2023. The first respondent is the authority competent to make changes. The third respondent is however directed to hold preliminary enquiry and submit a formal report to the first respondent. The third respondent will do so within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. At the end of the fourth week, the third respondent will forward his report to the first respondent through the second respondent. The first respondent will consider the petitioner's request and pass an appropriate order on merits and in accordance with 2/4

law within a period of ten weeks thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

3.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
