ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the case in H.M.O.P.No.154 of 2023 pending on the file of the learned Family Court, Thoothukudi within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. According to the revision petitioner, marriage was solemnised between the petitioner and respondent on 06.03.2022 at Dindigul. The respondent filed H.M.O.P.No.154 of 2023 seeking for a divorce, wherein the summons was issued to the petitioner for attending the Court on 29.05.2023. Since the petitioner is working at Chennai and staying at Chennai, for every hearing date of the above H.M.O.P, he is spending huge amounts for travel and a two year period lapsed from the date of filing the above H.M.O.P by the wife. Hence, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for petitioner. Since the revision is filed for seeking early disposal, no notice is necessary to the respondent.

4. Having been taken into consideration of the material facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice, a direction may be issued to the learned Family Court, Thoothukudi, to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.

5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the learned Family Court, Thoothukudi to dispose of the case in H.M.O.P.No.154 of 2023 pending on his file, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.
