ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to direct the second respondent not to interfere in civil dispute under the Negotiable Instruments Act and also consequently not to harass the petitioner based on any false complaint lodged by the third respondent by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 29.11.2024. 2.The contention of the petitioner is that due to civil dispute, a false case has been foisted against the petitioner. For which, the petitioner is being harassed by the second respondent police. In this regard, the petitioner sent a representation to the first respondent on 29.11.2024. But no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the petitioner has received a sum of Rs.7,60,000/- from the third respondent and thereafter, she has failed to repay the money. Hence, the third respondent lodged a complaint against the petitioner, based on which CSR No.1168 of 2024 was assigned and thereafter, the petitioner was called for enquiry. But the petitioner has failed to appear before the second respondent police.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is ready to appear before the second respondent police for enquiry on 13.12.2024.

5.Considering the said undertaking given by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police on 13.12.2024 and thereafter, the second respondent to complete the enquiry within a period of two months from 13.12.2024. 6.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
