ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.Jegadeesh Pandian, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.K.Sanjay Gandhi, Government Advocate(Criminal Side), appearing on behalf of Respondents 1 and 2, this Court made the following order: This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioner before the Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) 2/4
Act, 1989/Sessions Judge(FAC), Sivagangai District, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.17689 of 2024.
2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner could not surrender before the concerned Court within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is allowed and time is extended by two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
