ORDER

The petitioner submits that on a false complaint given by the third respondent, the petitioner has been unnecessarily harassed in the guise of enquiry.

2. The petitioner earlier was summoned by the legal service authority, Ottapidaram, on the complaint of the third respondent. It was enquired and found that the dispute is civil in nature. Suppressing the same, the third respondent is now using the second respondent, forcing the petitioner for settlement on its terms. Hence, above petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the third respondent lodged a complaint against the petitioner that on false promise, made him to deposit to the tune of Rs.2,50,000/- in QNET online marketing, thereafter, the money was swindled and misappropriated. To verify the same and get the particulars with regard to QNET online marketing, summons was issued to the petitioner in CSR.No.875 of 2024 on 03.12.2024. The petitioner was to appear on 08.12.2024, but filed this petition on 29.11.2024 terming it as harassment.

4. The learned petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the respondent police on 13.12.2024.

5. In view of the above, the petitioner to appear before the respondent police on 13.12.2024. On such appearance, the respondent police to conclude the investigation.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
